Description:
Teak is used for making boats, furniture, and other things which require resistance to the elements. Teak is often used for outdoor furniture. It’s because of its strength, versatility, and multiple uses, it is more expensive than other woods. Teak furniture is a status symbol. Since the best wood furniture made from teak comes from mature trees, it can take around 80 years before a teak tree planted today is harvested for wood. Teak is a great wood material and old teak can often be reclaimed. Teak furniture will eventually make its way to your backyard. Here are some tips and tricks to help you maintain your teak furniture for many years. Teak furniture that is left outdoors will naturally begin to slowly change color from the golden honey tone of new wood to a silver gray. This process begins a few weeks after the wood is new. This is due to the evaporation of natural oil from the wood’s exposed surface. Some wood cracks and uneven coloring may appear during weathering. This natural process should be a gradual one. It is simply the result of wood expanding and contracting due to changes in weather and the environment. This will give your furniture a different texture to the surface making it rough. It is important to service your furniture each year. The expansions of the wood can over time crack the wood. By continuously sealing your teak, you protect your furniture from this process and expand the life of the furniture

About Laguna Niguel
Laguna Niguel () is a city in Orange County, California, United States. The name Laguna Niguel is derived from the words "Laguna" (Spanish for "lagoon") and "Niguili" (the name of a Native American village once located near Aliso Creek). As of the 2020 census, the population was 64,355. Laguna Niguel is located in the San Joaquin Hills in the southeastern corner of Orange County, close to the Pacific Ocean, and borders the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, and San Juan Capistrano. Laguna Niguel has its origins in the Rancho Niguel Mexican land grant, which was acquired in 1959 by the Laguna Niguel Corporation to develop one of California's first master-planned communities.
